On Oct. 4, 2005 Dean, 11 weeks old, took his first steps onto Canadian soil.
The journey was long and Dean had lots to say when we got to our hotel room. He went on for hours, telling us about
the plane ride, how he missed his friends and family back home and how he was about to change our lives forever.
This was the first part of his journey, there was still one more flight to the Yukon before he finally reached his new home.

It didn't take Dean very long before he was taking over the house.
The bed was his first victory. It wasn't easy
at first, but after a few attempts he was able to claim his territory. Now when he sees us getting ready for bed, he sits
on the pillows and the fight is on.
Well of course Dean was going to have his own bed, and we were going to make
sure that he was going to sleep there; however, he wiggled right into our hearts and our bed was made available if he
wanted to snuggle in.

Soon Dean had taken over the house.
The couch, the recliner, and anywhere else he decided to sit.
He does
have a favorite place though ... it's the place he likes the most .... and that is where you are sitting.
As soon
as you get up, your seat is taken, and the fight is on; whether it is in the home or the van, or the truck .... possession
is nine tenths of the law.

Here he is with his shoe ..... we decided to give him his own pair of shoes,..... he was so happy and so were we. ; )
Dean is a very good boy,.... happy, full of love and loved by all of us here in the Robertson home.
